We are a machine shop specializing in custom machining and machine tool repair. We take pride in providing high-quality repair work and fast turnaround on rush-service projects.
Our work includes:
• Custom one-off and prototype machining
• Machine tool repair, rebuilds, and modifications
• Hands-on problem solving and repair work
• Precision machining to tight tolerances
This position offers flexible part-time hours with the possibility of increased hours based on workload and performance, and the potential to transition into a full-time position in the future.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of machining experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and hand sketches
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments, including:
o Inside and outside micrometers
o Depth micrometers
o Vernier calipers
o Dial indicators
Essential Skills
• Must be comfortable and proficient operating: o Manual lathes o Manual milling machines
This role requires strong hands-on experience operating manual lathes and milling machines. Candidates with experience limited to CNC machine operation are not be suitable for this position.
Additional Assets: • Fusion360 experience, • CNC milling experience, • CNC turning experience
Our regular shop hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Overtime is not mandatory; however, opportunities for overtime may arise and are welcomed by those interested.
Wages
Dependant on experience, starting at $30/hour.
